Milwaukee Bucks to Honor Wisconsin’s 42 Most Influential Black Leaders

The Milwaukee Bucks have invited everyone listed in 365 Media’s “Black Power 2018” to celebrate with each other and team executives as the Bucks host the Cleveland Cavaliers at the new Fiserv Forum on Sunday, March 24.

365 Media operates FoxValley365 and Madison365.

The state’s most influential Black leaders as named by Madison365 include corporate and government executives, change agents, educators and more. Eight of the 42 live and work in the Fox Valley region. To honor and recognize their accomplishments, the Bucks will host them for a VIP game experience in a Club Suite and recognize them on-court during that afternoon’s game.

“Wisconsin has produced and attracted really impressive Black leaders who wield a lot of influence in the economy, the government and our communities,” said Bucks Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility Arvind Gopalratnam. “It’s always exciting to get to know more and more people every year who are doing such good and important work in their communities. We’re thrilled that Madison365 gave these impressive individuals the recognition they deserve. We’re also proud to recognize and honor them in our own way.”

“The Milwaukee Bucks’ commitment to inclusion and diversity shows from the makeup of their ownership group and leadership team to hosting events like this,” said 365 Media Publisher and CEO Henry Sanders. “They’re going out of their way to help us celebrate and honor a group of people who rarely get the spotlight. We’re looking forward to spending a great day with them.”

This is the fourth year that 365 Media has recognized Wisconsin’s most influential Black leaders and the third year that the Bucks have hosted an event to honor them.
