Free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick will participate in a private workout in Atlanta on Saturday, which will include on-field work and an interview.

“NFL clubs were informed today that a private workout will be held for Colin Kaepernick on Saturday in Atlanta,” ESPN Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported. “Session will include on-field work and an interview. All clubs are invited to attend, and video of both the workout and interview will be made available to clubs.”

Several clubs have inquired about Kaepernick’s current football readiness. Kaepernick, who just turned 32 on Nov. 3, hasn’t been in the NFL since opting out of his contract with the 49ers in March 2017.  Kaepernick played in 12 games in 2016, finishing with 2,241 passing yards, 16 passing touchdowns, four interceptions and added 468 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
