The Transformation House in Green Bay has moved into its new location and will host an open house on Thursday, May 30.
Following months of tough battles with neighbors and a lengthy process of approval from the city council, Transformation House is ready to continue its work of helping people turn their lives around from any number of issues.
Transformation House recently moved into a new home, the old Santa Maria’s Nursing home building at 430 S. Clay Street in Green Bay. It will be a 46-bed, life-transitioning facility that gives meals, alcohol and drug treatment, financial training, religious studies and one-on-one case management meetings. Over 80 percent of the men who go through Transformation House graduate from its strict program.
Anyone wanting to tour the new facility, which is larger than the previous 30 bed Transformation House, can come to their Open House on Thursday, May 30, between 4:00 and 6:00 pm. There will be refreshments, a tour, and a chance to meet some of the residents and staff.
Transformation House is also a 501(c)(3) organization and is in need of donations in order to keep the life-altering services available for the men who desperately need them. Anyone wanting to support Transformation House or see what it’s about is welcome to come to the Open House on May 30 or call Transformation House at 920-857-9611.
