Wanted: Correspondents, Contributors, Reporters

As FoxValley365 continues to grow and cover more events, news, and personalities across Northeast Wisconsin, we need more people out in the community ready to find the stories, cover the events and write the news!

No experience is necessary, though you do need to be able to write well and be willing to learn how journalism works. We will teach you how to interview, how to cover an event, how to write in our “community news” style. You’ll also have to learn and agree to abide by our professional and ethical standards, and be able to meet a deadline.

Some availability to attend and cover events on evenings and weekends is also desirable. Some connection with communities of color is also important to have.

We are looking for paid freelance reporters. We pay per piece. Even if you’re only able to write once in a while, please reach out.

If you’re interested in trying your hand at journalism to make a little extra money or just contribute to a new kind of news for Green Bay and the Fox Valley, please email Executive Editor Robert Chappell at rchappell@foxvalley365.madison365.com. If you have some writing samples, send them along; if not, just tell us why you want to be a FoxValley365 correspondent and why you think you’d be a good one.
