For anyone wanting to enjoy music, the iconic shores of the Fox River in downtown Oshkosh, or just get good food and tailgate, Waterfest tickets are now on sale.
Waterfest, the Fox Valley’s annual concert series, will feature world-renowned acts to celebrate it’s 34th year.
Dennis DeYoung, the former frontman of the rock group Styx, will be performing (and possibly singing Mr. Roboto). Burton Cummings of the Guess Who has also been announced as performing at the Leach Amphitheater in Oshkosh as part of Waterfest.
And, on June 20, former Creed lead singer Scott Stapp will be performing during the concert series. The band Hairball will also take the stage.
Tickets have been on sale since Friday. General Admission is $100 and VIP passes are $150, although VIP passes can also be purchased for individual concerts.
Waterfest is a celebration of the quality of life enjoyed in the Fox Valley area and leans heavily on the beauty of the waterways in cities like Oshkosh. At Waterfest people get a dose of jazz, rock, pop, R&B, blues and roots music. Approximately 7,500 fans usually attend and tailgating is encouraged.
Waterfest inc, a local non-profit, hosts the event.
